About Me
Cassie Birtwistle, MA, MA, MBACP
After successful careers in business and the voluntary sector, I found my calling helping people identify the changes they wish to make in their lives and address what is holding them back. As a qualified integrative therapist, I explore with clients what is happening in the present and how the past might be influencing their feelings and reactions. Together we gain insight that can lead to positive change and free them from unproductive patterns of behaviour.
My counselling takes place in the context of an empathic therapeutic relationship which allows clients the space to find and express their authentic self, thereby improving their relationship with others and themselves.
My practice is LGBTQIA+ and neurodiversity affirmative.
Integrative counselling
I offer talk therapy which is client-centred and tailored to your individual needs. It is a safe and non-judgemental space where you can talk through what is troubling you and work towards the changes you desire. Sessions are 50 minutes, weekly.
I offer online sessions and a limited number of in-person sessions in Muswell Hill, North London.
I believe in counselling being accessible to all, and offer some concession rates in addition to my regular rate of £55 (a block-booking discount is also available). Please get in touch to discuss.
